Fantasy Impact:
The Eagles have added a fourth quarterback to the “QB Factory” (as GM Howie Roseman infamously called it after drafting QB Jalen Hurts) in Philadelphia. Tate, like Hurts, has the ability to do a lot of damage on the ground, as evidenced by his video game-like numbers he put up in 2017 at Arizona. He threw for a modest 1,591 yards and 14 TDs, but rushed for an incredible 1,411 yards (9.2 avg.) and 12 TDs. He’s got a unique skill set, and both he and Hurts can most likely learn from one another. Both quarterbacks can hopefully provide Carson Wentz with some helpful tips for how to effectively move outside the pocket and when to (safely) take off and run.
