Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Bears have agreed to a one-year deal with free agent linebacker Barkevious Mingo. The deal is reportedly worth $1.187M with $887,000 fully guaranteed. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
The Bears are signing Mingo to add depth to their defense. He should be familiar with the scheme, as he played for defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano when he coached the Colts. This will be the sixth team that Mingo has played for since being drafted in the first-round in 2013 by the Browns. Last season for the Texans, Mingo had six total tackles in 16 games. He may be left on waiver wires for now in IDP leagues.
