Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins is set to become a free agent as the team announced on Tuesday that it will not exercise 2020 option in his contract. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Jenkins never missed a game in his six years in Philadelphia and helped them win a Super Bowl in 2017. After the 2019 season, he announced that he would not be returning to the team on his current contract. Many assumed that Jenkins and the team would work out either a contract extension or a restructured deal for 2020, but the team has decided to walk away from the veteran safety who turned 32 years old in December.
