The 49ers have confirmed that Patrick Willis is going to retire from the NFL today at 12 PT. (49ers.com)

This is a sad day for 49ers fans and the NFL. Willis was one of the elite defenders in the NFL and will be missed by all. Chris Borland is going to be the player to target in IDP leagues.
