Fantasy Impact:
It is actually a surprise that Dixon, a talented, but often injured running back did not receive more attention after returning to health. The Jets are likely looking to evaluate what Dixon has left in the tank as they head to the offseason. The Jets will likely try to dump Le'Veon Bell's contract this offseason, and Dixon, if back to form, will give them a veteran stopgap as they transition to an Adam Gase approved rookie runner. This addition is a sign that Bilal Powell's status for the rest of the season may be in doubt.
