Ahkello Witherspoon (foot) will miss at least a month

After sustaining a foot injury on Sunday, an MRI revealed a foot sprain that will keep the third-year corner from action for at least a month. Emmanuel Moseley is currently in the lead to replace Witherspoon, not Jason Verrett who struggled on Sunday in his return from an Achilles tear. (Matt Maiocco on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Witherspoon started his 2019 campaign on a mission to bounce back from a mediocre sophomore year. He's played a key role in the 49ers secondary and while his loss isn't crushing to the 49ers D/ST value, it does hurt slightly. The team gets an early Week 4 bye so they may only lose Witherspoon for 3-4 games. With a stout defensive line and linebacking corps, the team should continue to cause issues for opposing QBs and RBs.
