Vikings wide receiver Josh Doctson is being placed on injured reserve with a leg injury, according to a report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport. He is a candidate to return later in the season. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The leg injury is likely the hamstring issue that Doctson has been dealing with lately, and the move to injured reserve gives him time to heal while also getting acclimated with a new playbook after just signing with Minnesota a week ago. He is unlikely to be relevant in most fantasy formats this season, but he is a former first round pick of Washington who some in the league still believe has some potential.
