Eric Weddle in concussion protocol

Rams safety Eric Weddle left Sunday’s win over the Panthers with a gruesome looking injury to his head. He is now in concussion protocol. (Los Angeles Times)
Fantasy Impact:
Weddle was a bloody mess after he was kneed in the head by a leaping Christian McCaffrey. Marqui Christian replaced him in the lineup. Weddle will need to clear protocol in order to play in Week 2 against the Saints.
