Baltimore Ravens are facing another dilemma: whether or not to release defensive end Chris Canty. Last season, he suffered with a bad staph infection in his wrist and had to have surgery to clean it up, causing him to miss a few weeks. He also had been dealing with recurring ankle injuries. According to ESPN's Jamison Hensley, Canty's 63 tackles ranked 12th for the past two seasons with the Ravens. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Canty, 32, is reported to be considering retirement. According to Canty, he does not want to play unless he can perform at a high level. Hensley states the Ravens are "expected to cut him" since they can find cheaper, younger players that can perform just as good.
