Elijah McGuire has been released by the Jets. He started three games for them last season. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Jets only had one or two spots for running backs behind Le’Veon Bell and Ty Montgomery. He only averaged 2.6 yards per carry and 6.8 per reception this preseason. McGuire was a long shot to make the Jets over Bilal Powell and Trenton Cannon. He will try to latch onto another team, but his 3.3 YPC might not attract many other clubs.
