Wide receiver Shelton Gibson was released by the Philadelphia Eagles with a waived/injured settlement. The team signed CB Sojourn Shelton to take his place on the roster. (Zack Rosenblatt on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Gibson was a speedster drafted by the Eagles in 2017 but never developed enough to earn a regular role on offense. He showed flashes last season and contributed on special teams but was unlikely to make the roster in 2019, especially after his ankle injury.
