With the 16th pick in the second round of the NFL Draft (No. 48 overall), the New Orleans Saints selected Texas A&M center Erik McCoy. (NFL.com)
Fantasy Impact:
It was reported earlier in the day that this pick might be part of a trade that sent Arizona Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen to Miami, but the Dolphins instead sent the pick to the New Orleans Saints. With the pick, the Saints selected McCoy. With Max Unger announcing his retirement last month, McCoy could come in and have the opportunity to start right away for the Saints.
