According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, the Jacksonville Jaguars are signing free agent quarterback Nick Foles to a four-year deal worth $88 million. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This was to be expected after the Jaguars cleared out tons of cap space by releasing multiple players last week. Foles walks into a tough spot, as the Jaguars offensive line isn't nearly as talented as the Eagles' was and they don't currently have a 50/50 receiver on the roster. Foles has been known to throw the ball up and let his receiver win a one-on-one battle, but Dede Westbrook and D.J. Chark aren't receivers you want to do that with very often. Expect the Jaguars to address a big wide receiver or tight end in the draft to give Foles a weapon in the red zone. You should not be drafting Foles outside of 2QB leagues.
