Chris Borland's season is over as the 49ers placed him on IR from his ankle injury sustained last week in Seattle. (49ers on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
In a corresponding move the 49ers activated LB Chase Thomas. He is not fantasy relevant can be safely ignored. With Borland, Patrick Willis and NaVorro Bowman all expected back in 2015, Borland's fantasy value is likely done.
