Andrew Adams snares three, Jordan Whitehead got seven in Week 13 win
by Gary VanDyke | Mon, Dec 3rd 7:43am EST
Tampa Bay backup safety Andrew Adams managed to pick off Cam Newton three times in the win Sunday. Those were his highlights as he only contributed one tackle, but was credited with three more passes defended. It was pleasant surprise rookie safety Jordan Whitehead who received yet another opportunity with Justin Evans (toe) missing half the contest. Whitehead led the secondary in tackles with seven combined.
Fantasy Impact:
IDP is sometimes about the opportunity. Both these players took advantage of that for their IDP owners this week and Whitehead has been quite the find for Tampa Bay so far. For the rest of the season, it is likely Whitehead who could hold the upside for fantasy owners. The secondary is reportedly beaten up after this contest and Whiteheads getting the job done.
