Jake Locker officially out for the season

Tennessean.com writer Jim Wyatt reports QB Jake Locker was placed on season ending IR Monday with a separated shoulder. He finished 6-of-11 for 56 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions before he suffered the injury against the Jets. Tennessee signed QB Jordan Palmer to replace Locker on the roster. (source)
Fantasy Impact:
Unfortunately it was a fitting end to Locker's season and likely career with the Titans. He has been riddled with injuries since he was drafted eighth overall in 2010. Locker started the season with high hopes when the Titans hired offensive minded head coach Ken Whisenhunt, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment for both he and Whisenhunt. Locker will attempt to comeback next season, likely with a new team through free agency.
