Bengals linebacker Preston Brown was placed on injured reserve Tuesday due to a knee injury. His season is over. (Katherine Terrell on Twitter )

The Bengals placed Preston Brown on IR today. Pretty big loss, and kind of surprising how it all happened. Got hurt against the Saints, played through it, seemed confident he'd be back as he sat at his locker in a knee brace, then IR a week later. Hardy Nickerson will replace him

Fantasy Impact:

Brown injured the knee in Week 10’s loss to the Saints and did not practice or play last week. He finishes his season with 42 tackles and two interceptions. He will be a free agent in March.
