ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting 2018 first-round draft pick Lamar Jackson is expected to be the Ravens' starting quarterback in Week 11. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Jackson is expected to draw his first career start with Joe Flacco all but ruled out for Sunday's consequential AFC North divisional tilt with Cincinnati. Not only is he the last of the 2018 first round rookie QBs who hadn't drawn a start this season, but he is also in line to see the "majority of the snaps" in a dream matchup facing a Bengals defense that can't contain anyone. And although Robert Griffin III's name is also in the mix for playing time, those leaks were likely a mere smokescreen coming out of Baltimore. While it will be difficult to trust Jackson in fantasy as he is an unknown as a starter in the pros, he is an athletic freak and a dangerous runner, which raises his floor. While you're unlikely to start Jackson in standard single QB fantasy formats, he is in play in Superflex/ 2QB leagues. He is also a high-upside option in DFS GPPs.
