Adarius Taylor bounces back in production Week Nine as starter

Tampa Bay "fill-in" starting middle linebacker Adarius Taylor recorded four solos and five assisted tackles in the loss Sunday to Carolina. In Taylor's second full fill-in start for Kwon Alexander (knee) he improved his production on the field by a large amount. His first contest as a starter was lackluster, to say the least, with only three combined tackles in Week Eight in a nice matchup versus the Bengals.
Fantasy Impact:
For IDP owners there is no way to sugar coat what we are likely looking at for the rest of the 2018 season and in dynasty leagues. There simply isn't a positive indication that Taylor will be a long-term dynasty option at this time. He does hold some upside as a production by default player for the rest of the current season, but with some risk. With Taylor not exactly lighting the world on fire in his performance on the field and along with last year's Alexander replacement Kendell Beckwith (ankle) recently returning to practice, his production by default could be in jeopardy. If Beckwith is completely reinstated from the PUP, Taylor's IDP owners may be in trouble. It is a situation to keep track of over the next week or two.
