Fantasy Impact:
While it's not a clear indicator of his plans to return to the Steelers, the timing of his message can't be ignored. He'll have to sign his franchise tender by Tuesday, Nov. 13 in order for the team to not be able to franchise tag him again. Considering his desire for a long-term contract, this has always been the most likely scenario since the start of the start of the season. The emergence of James Conner has made Bell expendable, but at this point, it's anyone's guess as to how the team would use the two running backs. Now may be a great time to see if Conner owners are willing to sell low(er) on him based on fear of Bell's potential return to the team.
