Derek Anderson struggles, leaves MNF late with injury
by Mark Leipold | Mon, Oct 29th 11:32pm EDT
Derek Anderson completed 22-of-39 pass attempts for 290 yards and one interception (a pick-six) in the Bills' Week 8 loss to the Patriots. He rushed once for a 1-yard loss and fumbled once in the game, too. Anderson also left the game right before the final whistle, and his status is unknown at this point.
Fantasy Impact:
Anderson was signed off the street -- what did we expect? He has very little to work with in terms of supporting cast and he's a low-end QB to begin with. Expect Anderson to put up low fantasy totals in most weeks, and don't even consider starting him in basically any format except 2QB leagues. Nathan Peterman would likely get the start if Anderson misses the next game.
