Eli Apple will start the New Orleans Saints' Week 8 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings over incumbent starter Ken Crawley. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

#Saints starting CB Ken Crawley will be inactive for the game against the #Vikings, sources say. That means new acquisition Eli Apple will start. With Crawley only playing on the outside and not on special teams, this is the only option. Apple gets to play right away.
