Rookie Josh Harris rising quietly behind Le'Veon Bell
by Isaac Leicht | Tue, Dec 9th 8:04pm EST
Undrafted rookie RB Josh Harris served as Le'Veon Bell's only active backup in Week 14 against the Bengals. Harris received four carries late in the game and gained 9 yards.
Fantasy Impact:
Josh Harris went undrafted out of Wake Forest and was recently promoted from the Steelers practice squad. Harris accused his college coaching staff of badmouthing him to scouts; resulting in his going undrafted. Harris has talent. He's a large RB with sneaky speed. Harris has jumped ahead of third-round pick Dri Archer, who was a healthy scratch against the Bengals because coach Mike Tomlin wanted an extra special-teams player on the active roster. The takeaway here is that Josh Harris is Le'Veon Bell's handcuff. Bell's not giving up his carries anytime soon, but if Bell goes down, Harris could help in your darkest fantasy hour.
