Joe Schobert “down for a little while” with hamstring injury

Browns coach Hue Jackson said Monday that linebacker Joe Schobert will be “down for a little while” with a hamstring injury suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Chargers. (ClevelandBrowns.com)

He had played on every defensive snap of the season before leaving in the third-quarter Sunday. Before the injury, Schobert recorded three tackles (two solo), 0.5 sack, one pass defensed, and one QB hit and now has 49 tackles, 1.5 sacks and an interception on the season. Jackson said Schobert’s backup, James Burgess, also left Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury and could miss time as well. The Browns may be in the market for a linebacker.
