Chris Thompson was released by the Texans on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports. (Aaron Wilson on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Thompson had been dealing with concussion issues and had finally returned to practice. The second-year player made the Texans last season as an undrafted rookie and caught five passes. Thompson will try to sign with another team before the season starts but will probably not be a fantasy option in any situation he ends up in.
