Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie signs with Raiders

32-year-old veteran defensive back Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has agreed to terms with the Oakland Raiders. Rodgers-Cromartie can play safety or corner and should help boost an Oakland secondary that picked off an NFL-low five passes in 2017. Oakland also ranked 26th against the pass last season, allowing just over 241 yards-per-game through the air. (Ian Rapoport via Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
DRC will likely get playing time pretty early once he learns the system. Jon Gruden continues to sign aging veterans to complete his "old school" roster. Gruden's Raiders are now prohibitive favorites to win the 2012 AFC West title.
