Kenny Britt cut by Patriots

Fantasy Impact:
Although the Patriots have seemingly one of the most decimated wide receiver corps in the NFL, they are not concerned, releasing Britt on Wednesday. However, despite the questionable depth at the position, I'm not surprised. Not only has Britt just recently returned to practice after being sidelined with a hamstring injury, but all reports suggest he has fallen behind the pack. Britt's departure opens up the door for the Patriots to pursue Dez Bryant, or enter 2018 with what they have on the back end -- Braxton Berrios, Riley McCarron, and Cordarrelle Patterson. For Britt, his career could very well be over.
