With Deion Jones (mild strain) out for the second preseason contest versus Kansas City, Riley wore the green dot and started the contest as the middle linebacker.
Fantasy Impact:
With in-game reports, the solid tag on his overall play could be seen as sub-par. There was a mixture of mental mistakes still reported as well some praise for good plays. His IDP owners will want to keep monitoring his situation heading into the third preseason contest to see if indeed he is taking strides to secure his projected starting role at the weakside linebacker.
