Martez Carter leads Washington in rushing Thursday

Martez Carter rushed seven times for 45 yards in Thursday's preseason win over the New York Mets, and he got a bit of an extended look with Derrius Guice on injured reserve and backup running back Samaje Perine leaving with an ankle injury.
Fantasy Impact:
With Derrius Guice on the shelf for the entire season, the touches what were assigned to him are up for grabs. While Carter is not going to fool anyone into thinking he is Guice, he is making the most of his preseason opportunities.
