Nick Rose joins Houston Texans

With Ka'imi Fairbairn nursing a "minor" injury that will keep him out of Houston's second preseason tilt, the Texans signed former Chargers placekicker Nick Rose to fill in against the 49ers. (Aaron Wilson via Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
The Texans also brought in Giorgio Tavecchio but elected to sign Rose. Fairbairn is expected back by Week 1 and should remain Houston's kicker.
