Marshon Lattimore has observation for defense first half

Sean Payton was not happy with the team's defensive performance in the first half of the first preseason contest. Marshon Lattimore stated the defense is adjusting to having new players in the lineup, including veteran defensive backs Kurt Coleman and Patrick Robinson. It also wasn't helping that the unit played without top defensive ends Cameron Jordan and Alex Okafor. (nola.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Lattimore makes a valid point and IDP owners should not worry at this point and time that he or any of the other IDP players mentioned won't be able to come through for their fantasy owners when the season is underway. If there is one concern it may be that Lattimore makes that leap into a shutdown cornerback which will hamper his production for IDP if team's start scheming away from his location on the field. And as for now, the reports are that he is very well on his way to becoming a top cornerback in the league.
