Ricardo Allen awarded a three-year extension

Via an Adam Schefter at ESPN report, Ricardo Allen and the Atlanta Falcons have agreed to a three year $19.5 million contract extension Monday. (usatoday.com)
Fantasy Impact:
The extension is likely locking Allen in as a tier two level IDP option for the next few years. This also puts into question what former Kanas City Chiefs safety Ron Parker's future role will be with Atlanta. He signed this off-season with Atlanta and now is likely third on the depth chart leaving little appeal in IDP production unless Allen or Keanu Neal go down with an injury.
