Jeff Heath to start at strong safety

The Dallas Cowboys have slotted Jeff Heath to start at strong safety and Xavier Woods to start at free safety after veterans Brandon Carr, Morris Claiborne, Orlando Scandrick and Barry Church were released in the offseason. (Dallas News)
Fantasy Impact:
Heath had his best season as a pro in 2017 finishing with 63 solo tackles, three interceptions and two forced fumbles. Woods, expected to be more of the coverage option for Dallas, enters his second season. The Cowboys, who added former Seattle coach Kris Richard to coach the secondary, could still trade for Seahawks safety Earl Thomas.
