Mike Klis of 9News.com is reporting that second-year wide receiver Carlos Henderson "would have to pull off an upset to make the Broncos' 53-man roster." (9News.com)
Fantasy Impact:
This is a shocking development for a player the Broncos invested a third-round pick on just last year. Henderson didn't play in 2017 due to a hand injury and was then arrested for marijuana possession at the start of the offseason. When he showed up at training camp with a lingering hamstring issue, head coach Vance Joseph stated, "he's got to get back on the field if he wants to make this football team." This could be an attempt to light a fire under the young man, but the fact that they drafted two wide receivers in the top four rounds may make him dispensable. We'd still bet he's on the team come Week 1.
