Christian Hackenberg waived by Oakland

Less than a month after acquiring him for a conditional 2019 seventh-round draft pick, the Oakland Raiders released former second-round signal-caller Christian Hackenberg. The Raiders will march forward with E.J. Manuel and Connor Cook behind Derek Carr. The Raiders will also keep their 2019 draft pick that was part of the deal. (Ian Rapoport via Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Hackenberg never came close to taking a regular season snap for the Jets and didn't even make it through the first week of OTAs in Oakland. He's running out of chances to stay in the NFL and has zero fantasy value.
