Markus Wheaton signs one-year deal with Eagles
by Jody Smith | Wed, May 2nd 5:51pm EDT
Six-year pro wide receiver Markus Wheaton has signed a one-year deal with the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. Wheaton will compete with Mack Hollins, Bryce Treggs, Shelton Gibson and Marquess Wilson for a reserve spot in the Eagles' receiving corps. (Philadelphia Enquirer )
Fantasy Impact:
Wheaton, 27, was a 2013 third-round selection by the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he spent his first four seasons before catching three passes in 11 games for Chicago in 2017. Even in an explosive Eagles offense, Wheaton is well off the fantasy radar.
