Josh McCown re-signs with Jets

Fantasy Impact:

Although the Jets are attempting to sign Teddy Bridgewater, there is no guarantee they ultimately get him. Reports suggest that Bridgewater has other options. However, even if the Jets do land Bridgewater, he is coming off of a severe knee injury and remains a question mark from that standpoint. Re-signing McCown is a no-brainer. Not only is he an efficient quarterback when healthy, but he's also like a having coach on the field, which could help a young and rebuilding Jets team tremendously. Expect McCown to compete for the starting job with whomever the Jets bring in.
