Theo Riddick receives only six touches in final game
by Shane McCormack | Mon, Jan 1st 11:06am EST
Theo Riddick ran the ball four times for 10 yards and caught two passes for 12 yards in the Lions' win over Green Bay.
Fantasy Impact:
It's difficult to get a read on Riddick's usage, at least as it pertains to his role going forward. He hadn't finished a game with single-digit touches since Week 12, and workload has been Riddick's biggest issue all year. To be fair, the team didn't need him at all in this game given Matthew Stafford's success with his receivers. It's sad to see how far Riddick has fallen considering the PPR monster he was not too long ago. The dynamics of this team would have to change rather dramatically for Riddick to be worth anything more than a late round flier in any leagues. The upcoming coaching change could help somewhat, but it's pointless to speculate until we know who will be calling the plays.
