Ameer Abdullah caps of disappointing season with meaningless touchdown

In the final game of the Lions' 2017 season, Ameer Abdullah carried the ball eight times for 18 yards. He scored a seven yard touchdown in the fourth quarter after the game had gotten out of hand. Abdullah also caught one pass for 11 yards.
Fantasy Impact:
The game meant nothing for either team, but the Lions decided to take this bout seriously. It was the Matthew Stafford show, as it should have been given this team's inability to run the ball and Green Bay's weak secondary. Everything is up in the air for 2018 as Jim Caldwell has been terminated. Maybe the team was trying to keep Abdullah happy at the end there, or maybe he was just in the right place at the right time as everyone was waiting for the clock to wind down. He's a talented player that could benefit from a beefed up offensive line and more creative playcalling, but some might argue he's had more than his fair share of chances already. In all likelihood he'll be a very late-round option in fantasy drafts next year.
