by Anthony Cervino | Mon, Oct 2nd 1:46pm EDT

Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer told the press running back Dalvin Cook (ACL) is officially out for the remainder of the 2017 season with a torn ACL. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

As expected, Cook will undergo a surgery to repair his torn ACL suffered in Sunday's Week 4 loss to the Lions. As a result, he will miss the remainder of the year. In his absence, expect Jerick McKinnon and Latavius Murray to handle the Vikings' running back duties moving forward with the latter likely to be featured as the RB1.
