Chris Johnson held to 17 yards on Monday night
by Brad Richter | Tue, Sep 26th 1:44pm EDT
Chris Johnson led the Cardinals' backfield in touches on Monday night with 12 carries and one reception but could only muster 17 rushing yards and four receiving yards during the 28-17 loss to the Cowboys.
Fantasy Impact:
The good news for Johnson owners is that he led the Cardinals' backfield with 13 touches compared to 10 for Andre Ellington and one for Kerwynn Williams. The bad news is he averaged only 1.42 YPC with a long run of just five yards. He was also out-snapped by Ellington 49 to 31 with the Cardinals playing from behind. The Cardinals face the 49ers in Week 4 who have allowed just 3.5 YPC this season. Fantasy owners should hold onto Johnson but should only consider starting him as a bye week fill-in if he has a good matchup.
