Jeremy Langford shows promise in third preseason game
by Rob Schwarz, Jr. | Mon, Aug 28th 10:30am EDT
Jeremy Langford stepped in with the second team on Sunday. He was given five carries, which he turned into 18 yards. He also gained 19 yards on two catches. Langford's ankle looked to hold up well in the game too, which is a positive as the Bears lost Cameron Meredith to a bad knee injury.
Fantasy Impact:
Langford played with the second unit most likely only because of Ka'Deem Carey being sidelined six weeks with a wrist injury. Langford showed enough that he should be Jordan Howard's backup to start the season. He is not a great handcuff, but will be the guy to step in if Howard were to get hurt.
