Tim Wright signs with Lions

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting the Detroit Lions have signed free agent tight end Tim Wright on Monday. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Wright, who missed the entire 2016 season with a torn ACL, was re-signed by the Lions Monday. In a corresponding move, Detroit moved on from TE Brandon Barnes. Scoring 13 touchdowns from 2013-2015, Wright has a slim chance to make the Lions' final roster for 2017. Although he wouldn't see a prominent role, Eric Ebron is the clear-cut starting TE, Wright could be a situational playmaker, primarily in the red zone, if he does indeed make the club.
