Joe Williams has a tough road ahead of him towards playing time

The 49ers running back depth chart is starting to become clearer as Joe Williams is listed as a third stringer behind Carlos Hyde and Tim Hightower respectively. (The Sacramento Bee)
Fantasy Impact:
The offseason hype train on Williams has finally slowed down and allowed us to properly evaluate him. He is struggling with ball security and pass protection, which is common for rookies. Williams is firmly in the third string role as of now and needs a drastic turn of events in order to overtake Hightower let alone Hyde. Although you shouldn't be looking at Williams at his current ADP, he is a name worth knowing with Hyde's injury history and Hightower's age.
