NFL Network's Tom Pelissero is reporting retired wide receiver Calvin Johnson "assured" the league insider that he will remain retired. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

Johnson attended Dolphins practice Sunday. He is an acquaintance of Miami's wide receivers coach, Shawn Jefferson, from their time in Detroit together and spent time with the Dolphins' receiving corps during his visit, per Pelissero. Barring an unforeseen change, Johnson will remain retired in 2017.
