Tim Hightower to open 2017 as 49ers' RB2?

San Francisco beat writer Matt Maiocco believes Tim Hightower "is looking very good" at training camp and "appears to be the team's second best running back." (Matt Maiocco on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It appears at this point, Hightower is the favorite to open the upcoming season as the 49ers' RB2, especially since Maiocco is also reporting that rookie Joe Williams is off to a "slow start" after the first week of training camp. However, it's early and a lot can change from now and until Week 1. Although Hyde is the favorite to enter the 2017 season as the team's RB1, I believe the RB2 job is a wide open.
