Gary Barnidge to visit with Jaguars

The First Coast News' Mike Kaye is reporting free agent tight end Gary Barnidge will visit with the Jacksonville Jaguars Tuesday. (Mike Kayte on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Barnidge has lingered on the open market since his release from the Browns in May. However, with training camp approaching, he has a visit and workout set up with the tight end-needy Jaguars next Tuesday. The 31-year-old would be an outstanding fit in Jacksonville as the only reliable TE on the roster is Marcedes Lewis, followed by underwhelming talents that include free agent acquisition Mychal Rivera, Ben Koyack and Neal Sterling. If not with the Jaguars, I'd expect Barnidge to sign with a new club sooner rather than later. The Jets and Ravens could also be in the mix for his services.
