Jeffcoat signed to Redskins practice squad

The Redskins added former Texas defensive end Jackson Jeffcoat to their practice squad on September 2, 2014. Jeffcoat is the son of former Cowboys great Jim Jeffcoat and will get an opportunity to work with coaches throughout the year. (Redskins.com)
Fantasy Impact:
The knock on Jeffcoat coming out of college was his lack of speed and his tweener size. Nonetheless, he has a lifetime of experience around the game and the potential to earn his way into a larger role. Obviously, Jeffcoat is not a player to sign in IDP leagues but his progress should be monitored.
