Gavin Escobar signs with Chiefs

Fantasy Impact:
After playing the first four years of his career with the Cowboys, Escobar signed with Kansas City Friday. The 26-yrear-old tight end has never really made his mark in Dallas due to the presence of Jason Witten and will be entering a similar situation with the Chiefs as they employ rising star Travis Kelce. Although eight of Escobar's 30 career receptions have gone for touchdowns, he is not a reliable fantasy option as long as Kelce is healthy.
