Niners cut WR Baldwin, sign L'Damian Washington

On Sunday, the 49ers cut 3rd year WR Jonathan Baldwin to make room on the roster for L'Damian Washington who was claimed off waivers from Dallas. Baldwin was acquired last year in a trade with the Chiefs for AJ Jenkins. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
After being taken in the first round of the 2011 draft, but failing to catch on as a solid starter, Jonathan Baldwin has officially reached BUST status. Baldwin was a long-shot to make the team after the Niner's signed Stevie Johnson and drafted Bruce Ellington in the offseason. Baldwin is young and may catch on with a team looking for a project, but, even in doing so, holds no fantasy value.
